From the house reef to open water

Some mornings begin with turtles just off the sand, snorkel mask on before breakfast. Others call for a catamaran past the reef, or a windsurfer catching an afternoon breeze. Head out and the Maldives widens further still, whale sharks at dawn, a private sandbank by lunch, Champagne as the sun goes down. Divers can drop into Protected Marine Areas minutes from the jetty. Wherever the day leads, it starts here, at Noovilu Sports, and ends wherever the water carries you.

The House Reef

Few resorts in the Maldives can reach a reef this alive without a boat. At Kandolhu, it circles the island itself, close enough that snorkelling becomes part of the day rather than something you plan for.
